This painting pulls you right into the sunset. Once your eye goes to the center it begins to wander around the large canvas. As you view the painting you soon pick up a tremendous amount of detail in the clouds that collect the light from the sky. The rocks and palms contrast sharply against the oranges and reds to set the background into the distance.
